This page will contain all bugs that we, as KMess developers, have seen or heard about, but that we have too few information about to fix. For example, they may only have occurred once, a situation has changed so they doesn't occur anymore, etc.

If you are having one of these bugs, PLEASE TELL US! There may be a "solution" listed, but please don't just apply it! In an ideal world, KMess would never have this bug at all. To get a little closer to that ideal world, we would like to fix all bugs listed on this page; and with your help we can: report your issue on  the boards or send an e-mail to bugs --AT-- kmess --DOT-- org that you're having this issue and we'll help you help us together. Thanks!

Re-adding a contact under Removed / Allowed sometimes gives 500 Internal Server Error Contact already added

On the KMess test account, I (sjors) had Valerio under Removed or Allowed contacts; but each time I tried to add him, KMess tried to add him as a new contact instead of as an existing contact, so the server returned a 500 Internal Server Error "Contact already in your contact list". Logging in with Live Messenger 2009 and re-adding him worked; though after that, I couldn't reproduce this bug to find out what KMess was doing wrong. - sjors

Some extra information on this one: I looked at the logs, KMess is noticing it should add an existing contact back to the normal list; it sends *exactly* the same SOAP message, but WLM responds with 500 ISA instead of 200 OK. Once someone else pops up with this issue, I'll try to find out what makes the difference at the Live serverside, and what Live Messenger does to circumvent this problem.

If you are having this bug, please  report it at the boards or send an e-mail to bugs --AT-- kmess --DOT-- org. Thanks.
