Wink playing

To play a Wink, the KHTMLPart has to allow plugins and non-local files. This is currently always open. Should we enable this only temporary when a wink is playing, minimizing the privileges for HTML content?

Chat window

Just to put the link somewhere, is there something we can learn from this one: emesene chat window

• We shouldn't put the own user avatar in each window, it's redundant. -valerio (done optional)
• I'd like to have the chat window display the toolbar between the chat and the input box. -valerio

Instead of having a central transfer dialog, it would be nice to have the transfer integrated in the chat window somewhere. Mercury also does this in the sidebar. I don't like to have it in the message area, you'll loose the transfer information when you're continueing the conversation.

Away status

How can we cleanly implement an option to show a personal message like "away since 12:43 pm"?

• Mmmh, what about prepending "(away since 12:34)" to the current away message, and restoring it when going back to online status? -valerio

Webcam ideas

It would be cool to have little semi-transparent icons to a) access settings b) close the webcam view c) pause it?

For full screen mode, I would like to have a cool one like Gwenview's. For windowed mode we'll need a new Dock Widget: it will need to be undockable, and possibly have the same icons of full screen mode, just smaller.

Distributions at the download page

The download page doesn't list all small distributions. Should flugalware be included for example? See http://www.kmess.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=2211
