Improve the "add contact" dialog to add the contact to multiple groups.

In the "add contact" dialog, display a list of groups to add the contact to (a checkbox list like KOrganizer has).

Should we still implement this? The current pulldown is also very clean ATM.

No, this feature is quite alright as it is; the use case where a new contact has to be added to many groups at once is so rare that the user, well, may just add it to one group in the Add Contact dialog; and subsequently to the others, via the contactlist as usual.
