I've received a report that WLM 2009 (still in beta) causes P2P errors with KMess. This produces error messages in the chat window which aren't needed at all.

Currently my policy has been:

  • give verbose messages for visible things like file transfer.
  • be silent in the chat window about background MsnObject transfers. If these fail you'll see it anyway.

P2P conversations are working again, fixed with r3843. This needs to be backported too.
