Description

As reported here, it would be nice to have something (I'd suggest a tooltip) to display extra information about the files you're transferring or have transferred; for example:

  • whether it's a sent or received file
  • the name/handle of the contact
  • the file size in full

Also possible with KDE 4: show the extra information if you click on an item. This is done with the shortcut settings and (I think) kget tranfers. It's a bit more advanced though then a tooltip.

The file transfer direction can also be displayed as overlay/emblem on top of the icon/preview.
