When selecting an emoticon theme, it would be useful to have a preview of the emoticons.
A theme will be mapped to the MSN emoticon definitions. This means some emoticons will be left out. How about offering a dialog to add these emoticons to the custom emoticon list?
I think it's also useful to see the list of shortcuts somewhere, but this could be discussed first off course.
Editing emoticon themes is not needed, because KDE 4.1 has an control panel for this.
