Group sorting can become unusable

Description

After some time - but since I don't really know, let's say randomly - the Group Sorting options from the contact list become grayed out.

It's possible that the group indices get saved in a wrong way (like, the saved group IDs aren't unique anymore) therefore the UI can't determine which one has higher sorting precedence.

Note: This ticket could be related to #261, there could be some saving issues occasionally.
