Add option to share custom emoticons between accounts

Description (last modified by valerio) (diff)

Many people has more than one account. If KMess could support various custom emoticon themes to be loaded at once, we could implement a custom emoticon theme feature, which could enable an user to select which themes of custom emoticons to use.

New emoticons would be added to one of them as selected by the user, and maybe all the themes could be shared between users of the same KMess installation.

There's one major point that I never brought into consideration until recently.

All of KMess' settings belong to only one KDE settings folder, which in turn is located within exactly one unix user account directory. This IMHO means that, with 99% probability, all registered accounts belong to the same person.

Even if accounts belonging to different people are registered on the same KDE dir, they probably don't need their own set of emoticons, say for the case you're letting a friend connect within your account to show you something..

So, I'm starting to think that we should simplify the emoticons settings, and have only one set of custom emoticons for the entire application.

What do you think?
